Andy Gronik: My family has Obamacare

By Andy Gronik

The Senate’s continued effort to repeal the Affordable Care Act causes fear and worry for thousands of families — including mine.

I have Crohn’s disease, so I’ve listed a pre-existing condition on my insurance for years. My family purchased our current plan through the Obamacare exchanges. And now, like many Wisconsin families, we’re facing an uncertain future.

Governor Walker has already shown that he won’t stand up for us — instead, he’s supporting a bill that gives millions of dollars in tax breaks to the richest Americans and to huge corporations, while millions lose critical health coverage.

It’s time for Governor Walker to put people first. Call Governor Walker’s office at (608) 266-1212 and tell him it’s time he stood up to President Trump and his allies in Congress.

My wife, Mary, and I know how crucial the plans offered on the Obamacare exchanges are for people across our state. You better believe that I’ll fight to save them.

I will work tirelessly to make sure nobody loses their life or their life’s savings because Republican politicians continue to play games with healthcare to score points with extreme special interests.

In addition to calling Governor Walker, please give Senator Ron Johnson a call, along with the White House and Republican leadership:

President Donald Trump: (202) 456-1111
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell: (202) 224-2541
Speaker Paul Ryan: (202) 225-3031
Senator Ron Johnson: (202) 224-5323
Capitol Switchboard: (202) 224-3121
Governor Scott Walker: (608) 266-1212

Thank you.
